Marta Fonfara
Marta Fonfara is a young Polish artist who has been closely observing Parisian life since 2010. She studied engraving at the Poznan School of Fine Art and then travelled in France for a year; and duly fell in love with its culture, landscapes, gastronomy and a man. Her first professional works were illustrations for children's books ("Gulliver's Travels" published by Mouck, "The Cat That Walked by Himself" published by L’autre format). In the illustrations for the Parizienne hotel she has been able to express what she adores the most: humour, fine pencil strokes and drawing real-life characters. Photo credit : Anna Moskal.
